Who I am
My name is Don Shield and I'm a professional photographer in Oklahoma City. I began photographing models in 1969 after a classmate and friend of mine at the University of Oklahoma wanted some pictures taken for a modeling agency in Oklahoma City. The female form is uniquely artistic by nature and the experience of capturing her on film was quite compelling to me.
Since that time, I have photographed female Hollywood celebrities, national and local television personalities, doctors, lawyers, educators, and even a NASA aeronautical engineer. I work with both female professional and amateur models. My motto is simple: "Just you... Only better. The way you want others to see you."
Do you have a particular project or idea in mind? Let me know. I have no limits, and I'm always willing to make it happen; no matter what. I believe that unique angles and sultry poses create one of a kind photos like no other. My shooting styles range within all the categories including fashion, commercial, glamor, fitness, lingerie, swimwear, implied nudes up to artistic and "Playboy" nudes as well. No matter what the style of the shoot, I am professional and provide a fun, safe atmosphere to shoot in.
I believe that nudity is natural and the female figure is deserving of absolute appreciation, admiration and respect. The women you'll see here are strong, confident, and proud individuals, opting to push their limits outside the box while exploring and sharing their beauty. Models I work with are all encouraged to express themselves freely, and never pressured to pose beyond their comfort level.
Again, limit yourself and you won't be able to fully enjoy the beauty and diversity of all worlds. To those who are stuck in one area, I invite them to rediscover the left behind areas. Let others see you the way you would like to be seen. The more you learn; the more independent and free you can and will be. Not only as a model, but as an individual.
